We here at Mustangs Only want to apologize.
Apologize for the city of Culver City. For the past 5 years they have been trying to put us out of business.
As of January 27, 2000, "used vehicle sales shall only be allowed incidental to new vehicle
sales" (section 37-41.14A22 of the new zoning regulations). I wonder if anyone at City Hall understands that classic cars are
and always will be used cars, that "new" classic cars do not exist?
After thirty years at this same location and with me approaching seventy years of age, this is how the city fathers of Culver City
are treating us and our beloved classic Mustangs.
On June 15, 1999, at a Culver City Planning and Redevelopment meeting, we were told to our face "no new auto repair"
would be allowed in our area. But then, on Aug 11, those same city fathers approved a 9,217 sq ft, 11 Bay, Goodyear Tire
and Automotive facility at 5879 Washington Blvd, we are at 5863 Washington
Blvd, right next door! How do you think we feel?
Mustangs Only will always be in business! But it will be harder for you
and I to do business
